Tony looked sadly at the young puppy laying in the far corner in the room, the pup's nose pressed against the wall. It was as if he was trying to hide from the rest of the world, as if he was trying to close the rest of the world off from himself. He was hiding, not wanting anyone to see him in the state he was currently in.
The large room was empty and while it should have made Tony happy, at that moment it did the exact opposite. It brought sadness to his heart, because it meant that the young pup had been left behind once again, had been forced to be abandoned again. Something someone so young should never have to ex

Tony opened his emerald colored eyes as he heard the birds sing. He yawed and stretched his back before standing up. It was a warm spring morning and others had yet to wake up. It was Sunday after all, the only day they were really promised rest from their work. Everyone usually slept in on Sundays, everyone except Tony. He had far more important things to do than sleeping the day away or lazying off. As soon he had some time off he always did the same thing, and he wouldn't break that tradition for anything.
He left his personal chamber, ignoring to put on his collar. Today he wasn't an agent, today he was just himself.

On the drive back the DC, the only thing the partner's could agree upon was that silence was preferred. For some time before they reached the consensus, they bickered, sometimes hissing at an angry word or two. It had been a long day for the both of them, but it was about to get longer.
After nearly ten minutes of silence, the harsh trill of Ziva's phone alarmed the two passengers. After a moment of hesitation, Ziva finally realized what was happening, and answered the call.
"Agent David," she followed with a sound of agreement, "Are you sure? Fine, we will be there shortly."
Not wanting to say anything, but still wanting to intrude, Tony
The door was locked.
This was the first locked door they'd come across during their search, and Gibbs allowed it to buoy his hopes that this was where Tony was being held. He nodded to Fornell, following close behind him, and with his cover, kicked the door open. Automatically scanning the room for danger, one part of his brain catalogued the room's contents, before the rest of him was even aware of it.
The sight that greeted him was like a flashback to one of his frequent nightmares. The room was bare, like a cell. No decorations, no furnishings, just a metal bed in the centre of the room, directly below a skylight. The nightmare image was

A severe and ominous silence wiped across the floor, a mere chatter was all that arose. Each person was occupied by their own task, rushing as if their lives had depended on it. Although most were busy with their labors, a curious few stopped momentarily to join in on the office gossip. The current tasty piece of information came from that of the MCRT team, who were usually in the spotlight for heroic actions, but now had been demoted to water cooler chatting.
A somewhat fixed glare had been set upon the group by their coworkers about two months prior, when things took a turn from the ordinary. It had happened almost instantly. In fact, it h
Nowadays if Anthony DiNozzo took a look at his own reflection in the mirror, he never stopped trying to change the vision in his mind of that ruffle-haired, green-eyed thirty something prankster he saw in front of him. He didn't give up the hope that someday he'll notice at least some features of somebody else on the plain surface. Some silver hairs among the brown ones maybe, some blue-ish gleam in the green irises, a bit less colors on those red lips, yet more firmness on them.
Nine years passed since he shook his boss' hand for the first time, since he first saw that famous half-smile that suggested the words without speaking:"Let's see i

NCIS - Together it's easier
After the last computer shut down, the smooth murmuring of the machine was replaced by heavy silence in the lab of NCIS. As if the air had still kept the tension of the last few days.
It was like the fallen teardrops hadn't dried up yet entirely, but it was a waste of time staring at the floor, waiting for those signs of sorrow to glint.
Abby Sciuto knew that, but she still caught herself doing it again and again that night. Her thoughts were carrying her far away as she went through the past seventy two hours' events in her mind.
Two days before, it was Tony's tight hug that made her believe that the irreversible really had happened. Till
